The name, explained
HKitty Enterprises sounds like a shell company, and honestly, that is the energy we were going for. The truth is softer. H is the first letter of my favorite person's name. Kitty is my cat, who supervises every design from a chair she did not pay for. And Enterprises, because this shop is one venture of several, and because nothing is funnier to me than a one-person operation with corporate ambitions.
Current org chart: one human (design, printing logistics, customer service, janitorial), one H (quality control, morale), one cat (executive oversight, no direct reports, total authority). Quarterly performance reviews are scheduled and then declined. It's on brand.
How the shop works
HKitty Enterprises is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Once a design is ready, it's produced item by item through Printify's US print-on-demand network. No stockroom, no waste. Nothing gets made until somebody orders it.
The catalog runs on millennial humor: burnout deadpan, anxious self-awareness, 90s and 2000s nostalgia, coffee-and-snack loyalty, pet and plant parenthood, and office-meeting satire, plus an original anime and kawaii line. If you've ever screenshotted a pun for the group chat, you're the audience.
